Visiting Angels go out of their way to look after aunt. My aunt was resistant to having carers in her home, initially, but now she really appreciates the team; thanks to their kindness and compassion they have won my aunt over! The team of carers, including the supervisor, are excellent communicators. Yesterday my aunt had forgotten her hair appointment and gone out to do some errands. The carer waited for over an hour and her persistance paid out! My aunt returned and they had enough time to get to the hairdressers. Throughout, Visiting Angels and I were in touch. The assessment was thorough, the service is flexible and the client is at the heart of their service.
My father has Dementia. I first used Visiting Angels last year when I wanted a carer to visit Dad twice a week. The carer they provided was completely delightful but Dad was so resistent to having help, that after a few visits I had to cancel the booking. This spring, Dad needed a live in carer. At very short notice, Visiting Angels found a thoughtful, empathetic carer who Dad has really responded to. In my experience, Visiting Angels are a company who put the customer’s needs, not the money, first.
I wanted to add an update, as my father has just moved in to a care home. We had the same wonderful live in carer for the whole time that Dad was in his own home. For the last few months, we also needed Companionship Care for when our live in carer took his daily afternoon breaks. The carers who Visiting Angels supplied were all thoughtful and kind to Dad, even though each time they came it was as if he’d never met them before. Again, I’m happy to recommend this company to anyone with an elderly relative who’s in need of extra help and support.

I am so glad I found Visiting Angels. From the time I made an online query it took a matter of minutes before I was contacted by Visiting Angels (this was late on a Saturday evening). They immediately put my mind at rest after my family had put our trust and faith in another so called “Care” Agency. Straight from the onset it was obvious that Visiting Angels are literally Angels in disguise. Their performance and care to detail is beyond belief. Their attention to detail is to be admired and they were prepared to be as flexible as they could with our wants and needs.
At the time of making first contact with Visiting Angels I told them of the predicament my family were in with my elderly (nearly 99 year old) mother having suffered various fractures prior to me making contact. She, at that time, was in a Care Home having rehab and was desperate to get home. From the onset, Parag and Rita came and met my mother and we all discussed her needs. They both went out of their way to expedite her transfer from Care Home back home, liaising with NHS OT to make sure all Health & Safety Guidelines were met. My son and I had video interviews along with Visiting Angels with 2 suggested carers. Unfortunately our first choice turned out not to be suitable so we settled for the second lady. Unfortunately this didn’t work out for the family and Visiting Angels were once again able to sort out a replacement within a short timeframe. The current carer that we have is the best ever and we are all so very happy with her. She is kind and considerate and we are all as a family very fond of her even though we haven’t had her for very long.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Visiting Angels and if there was a score of 100 I would give them 110!

We have been using Visiting Angels for the past two and a half years. Initially VA provided care and support for my mother, who was disabled by a broken hip, and for my father who suffers from Alzheimer's. Up until early 2024 they provided a few hours a week care, providing support and companionship at home and taking each of them out to local groups. Both my parents very much appreciated the care that was provided and the help with getting out and meeting other people.
Sadly, my mother passed away earlier this year, aged 88. This has meant that we have had to increase the care for my 92 year old father. VA now come 3 times a day to provide support and companionship, to make meals and to look after dad. My father likes all the carers, who are always dependable, friendly and helpful.
The carers at Visiting Angels have always been very flexible, kind and compassionate, which has been especially important over the past 6 months.

Visiting angels are a very responsive care provider, who put the wellbeing of their client at the heart of what they do. They are very flexible and see the person that they are looking after as their primary concern. They treat my Dad like he is a member of their own family in their care of him. I have been very impressed and happy with their care.

Visiting Angels were immediately able to provide the hours we asked for. Within a couple of weeks we needed 24/7 care for her and they had that in place within 24 hours of requesting it.
When a carer starts a new shift for the first time, they do the first hour with a team member who shows them the routine. Comprehensive notes are kept so that I am able to know how my aunt is at all times.
I now know all the carers and they are very kind, compassionate and attentive to my aunt’s needs. Also, everything is so clean and orderly when I come over. She can have very challenging behaviour but they all handle her with patience and warmth.

I'd like to share the positive experience I had with Visiting Angels. I was urgently in need of someone to visit my ailing, bed-bound mum on a daily basis to keep her company and to keep an eye on her wellbeing while I had a desperately needed break from my caring duties. I was recommended Visiting Angels by a friend who was using their services. From the moment I spoke to them it was evident that they are committed to providing exceptional care. The carers, under the thoughtful leadership of Parag and Rita displayed a genuine passion for the well-being of my mum. They were exceptional. They really went above and beyond to help my mum and Parag and Rita also gave me highly needed support - not something I've experienced with other the care companies that I've dealt with.
They visited me at home and are genuinely the nicest people you could hope to meet and you can see that they are absolutely dedicated to providing a better that average care service.
